A painting I just did of a village where the Deaf people lived. This is the place where I realized of the changes that is to take place in my life. Being Deaf and knows signing I was accepted right away by this deaf community and was able to sign with them. I worked there two days on my last mission trip and will go back to work again. There is something about this community where they embraced me with their love, spirit, and their stories with me. I will never forget this incredible experience I have had with them. God has called me to be a Missionary and Humanitarian to the people there in the Village of Leveque. This painting is 18" X 24" oil on canvas and is available for sale. All sales from my art proceed 100% will goes toward the mission "Bringing Love to Haiti"

Painting of "Tamalyon"
While serving in Haiti last November - I met a Deaf lady there who lives in the Village of Leveque in Haiti where the deaf poplulation lived. I was so impressed with her and about her story of her life. She is one of the many who is struggling each day not knowing how she is to survive each day but she place so much faith in God that she will overcome. I was so inspired when the photographer who happen to be with me said I should paint a portrait of her from his photograph so I did. This is my first portrait I have done in many years and was happy to see the results of it. I will be painting more of Haiti related theme to promote my mission to serve again.

"Moving Forward"
30" X 40" Oil on Canvas
Quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson
"The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well."
Sometimes many of us when we are face with problems such as health, death of loved ones, divorce, unemployment, and more.......we are inclined to think there is no hope anymore. By leaning on God and learning and listening to what He has to say during our difficult times we are able to move forward and be useful and helpful to those who are hurting.
